The Swimmers
The Swimmers // Acrylic & Aquarelle on canvas // 220X400 cm // 2012

The act of diminishing using the 'Griddlers' language turns the field landscape with the Cypress trees in its background to an infinite space. The soldiers appear as swimmers, and the trenches appears as ripples of  water.

Soldiers lying in trenches during an 'Iron Dome' rocket interception training, from a photograph published in the 'Haaretz' newspaper, winter 2011.
